Janelane is the musical alias of Los Angeles-born singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Sophie Negrini. Negrini’s pop hooks, confessional lyrics, and layers of shimmering guitars are the result of a socially-anxious adolescence spent listening to every 90s jangle-pop band under the sun.

Love Letters, Janelane’s first full-length LP, comes out on April 12th, 2024 via Kingfisher Bluez; a poignant step forward for Negrini’s project. The album presents a more polished and focused sound as Negrini channels her knack for power pop melodies and indie dream rock into cinematic anthems with a heartbreaking nostalgia.

Produced by Joey Oaxaca (White Reaper Twen, Mamalarky), and Nic Hessler(Catwalk), the 10-song LP features musical performances from members of White Reaper, Starcrawler, and Dear Boy.
