St. Augustine, Florida's Tariffs offer up one hell of a debut record.

Formed in 2025 by seminal guitarists Mitch Cheney (Sweep The Leg Johnny, Rumah Sakit, Hey!Tonal) and Alan Mills (Terror Management Band, Hey!Tonal), along with bassist Andy Calvert (The Wobbly Toms) and drummer Jeremy Rogers (Deadaires, Terror Management Band), TARIFFS balance massive riffs with delicate melodies in a way that mesmerizes audiences during their crushing live performances. Drummer Kevin Kelley (Liquid Limbs, Terror Management Band) replaced Jeremy in 2026.

The Posture of a Civilized Man was recorded and engineered in 2026 by Ben McLeod (All Them Witches) at DOUBLEland in St. Augustine, FL, and was mastered by Carl Saff at Saff Mastering in Chicago, IL. The vinyl was pressed at the world's first and only fully-solar powered pressing plant, Audiodrome in Alachua, FL. Artist David Lyle provided the oil paintings "Retribution"- cover, "If You See Something, Say Something"- back cover & "Tipping Point"- inside. (davidlylepaintings.bigcartel.com). Album layout/design by Mitch Cheney.
