Mexican wunderkind producer Grenda returns. Static Discos presents a new 7" single by Grenda, the electronic music project of Eduardo Amezcua, celebrating ten years of activity since his debut EP Living Right (2015), released when he was a teenager. Since then, Grenda has developed a distinctive voice in Mexican electronic music, blending melancholic atmospheres with an experimental pop sensibility.
The double single, Umbral and Oblea, revisits Grenda’s creative origins, bringing a renewed awareness of the melancholy that has shaped his music. Composed and produced by Amezcua, both rhythmic tracks combine analog synthesizers, acoustic instruments, and processed vocals, embracing organic experimentation while preserving initial ideas and intuition.
