Please Consider Us and Shake The Shelter are both from the 1997 “Closet Pop Folk” compilation of acoustic performances of that also featured acts like The Negro Problem, 7 Deadly 5, Randell Kirsch and Wondermints. Big Yellow Warm Fuzzy was on the Spain-only release of 1996’s “68 ½ % Pure Imagination. Not only did drummer David Green write and sing this deep cut, he and Rusty both play drums on it! Baby’s In A Bad Mood is live at a soundcheck in 2004 in Sheffield, England. It was the bands’ good pal, Michael Shelley’s 40th birthday so they recorded a version of one of his songs that Michael’s wife included on a compilation CD gift for him! Rounding out this deep cut collection is probably the deepest cut of all; All In The Run Of A Day. Written by Barry White, Baby Lemonade recorded their version for inclusion on the 1999 Del-Fi compilation double-CD “Delphonic Sounds Today!,” which also featured bands like Wondermints, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Elliot Easton’s Tiki Gods. All In The Run Of A Day also features Rusty on piano and guitar (and the solo!), with Mike on vocals and the bass. David Green rounds it out on drums and the session was recorded and mixed by Nicky 2.0 aka Wonderlints guitarist, Nick Walusko.
