Judging by the back cover of Special Education, containing several pictures of electronic keyboards, it's easy to tell without even listening to the album that MV77 is on the experimental side of things. And how? -- Special Education features a sonic barrage of flowing electronica that's equally mesmerizing and beautiful. Although monotonous at times, MV77's barrage of dreamy noise is great for relaxing background noise, especially for reading a book or falling asleep. Definitely more of a studio band than a live band. - All Music Guide
