Windsor For The Derby - Visiones / Confianza

The 25-minute-long record comprises five songs that cover all the Windsor for the Derby’s dimensions. “Confianza”, chosen as the opening tracks, makes monochromatic and dark advances on a pentagram of solid rhythm base and arabesque guitar sounds. “Visiones” adds a dance beat and quivering vocals to the melancholic potion, reminding us of Neu! And Joy Divison, but also pointing toward New Order and Disco Inferno’s “Technicolour” . “The Hammer” turns around vigorously as it reaches its end. In “The End of your Line”, the simple acoustics and vaporous sounds make us think of Codeine at its most intimate. And to finish off, Windsor for the Derby add “No Tekno w/ Drums”, a re-edited recording of a concert in Italy, where they show their passion for feedback. For “Confianza/Visiones” the band counted on the production and musical work of Dan Burton, member of Ativin and Early Day Miners.
