In a departure from predominately instrumental compositions, You Signed Up for This is a collection of songs with lyrics written by Clive Wright featuring Carl Roessler on flutes and Hand-pan percussion, along with Clive’s guitar styles and electronic arrangements.

The Album carries that unique signature approach of Clive Wright and Carl Roessler’s music. Three of the tracks were recorded live, Glitch in the Matrix (Instrumental), Coffee Galaxy and Angelic Portal. The rest are studio compositions. Styles include Ampiano, a vibrant subgenre of house music. Translating to "the pianos" in Zulu, it blends deep house, jazz, kwaito, and lounge music, including untypical rock guitar, and elements of modern World-pop.
