The Cherry Wave spew forth an album of songs that pay homage to Noise-Rock, Shoegaze, Hardcore Punk and Noise Music in equal measure. Avalancher is always droning and always fuzz-drenched and noise–worshipping, but behind the cacophony lies a collection of songs that are as catchy and memorable as they are ear-destroying. It's an album full of distortion, but also filled with melody and hooks. An avalanche of fuzzy anthems.
